PART I: THE PROBLEM 02 / 09

Recruiter Fatigue

Reviewing resumes is soul-crushing work. Hiring managers scan thousands of bullet points, looking for signals of competence. But in the age of ChatGPT, "fake competence" is easy to generate.

The "Wall of Text"

After the 50th resume, eyes glaze over. Critical details are missed.

The Hallucination Trap

Candidates are using AI to fluff their CVs. Can you spot the difference between a real achievement and a hallucination?

PART II: THE SOLUTION 03 / 09

Gamified Due Diligence

Elevator Pitch:
"Spot the Fake CV" - A fast-paced web game where you have 10 seconds to identify the AI-generated lie hidden among 3 real achievements.

The Game Loop
  • Present: 4 Plausible Bullet Points.
  • Action: Click the "Fake" one.
  • Feedback: Immediate reveal + Explanation.
Why it Works
  • Competitiveness: HR pros want to prove they can't be tricked.
  • Data Collection: We learn what "believable lies" look like.
PART III: TECHNOLOGY 04 / 09

Adversarial Generation

Using fine-tuned models to generate specific types of resume lies.

  • Real Data: Dataset of 10k high-quality CV bullets.
  • Fake Generator: Prompted to create "plausible but vague" metrics.
  • Engine: Vanilla JS for instant load times.
const generateFake = async (role) => {
  // We want subtle lies, not obvious ones
  return llm.create({
    role: role,
    instruction: "Generate a bullet point that sounds impressive but uses impossible metrics or vague buzzwords.",
    example: "Optimized serverless latency by 500% using quantum flux capacitors."
  });
}
PART IV: LEARNINGS 05 / 09

The Uncanny Valley

Human Instinct
"Experienced recruiters could spot the AI fakes with 90% accuracy, not because of the content, but because of the 'perfectly average' sentence structure. AI lacks the idiosyncratic messiness of human writing."

Making Recruitment Fun?

Let's be honest: reviewing CVs is boring. "Spot the Fake CV" is a gamified take on the hiring process. It challenges HR professionals and hiring managers to identify AI-generated or obviously fake bullet points hidden among real, high-quality achievements.

It turns the mundane task of screening into a competitive sport.

The Game Loop

The rules are simple: You are presented with 4 bullet points. 3 are real, high-impact achievements (e.g., "Increased revenue by 20%..."). 1 is a plausible but fake hallucination. You have 10 seconds to spot the fake.

Technical Implementation

The game is built with vanilla JavaScript for maximum performance and zero dependencies. However, the content is dynamic.
